High-Elastic Compression Sock
3 Pairs Compression Socks
Anti-slip arch compression with moisture-wicking cotton knit -- 3 pairs per pack for performance and recovery.
One size fits most men (US sizes 7-13). Select your preferred color pack above.
How the Anti-Slip Design Works
The stripe pattern woven into the sole of each sock is made from a higher-friction material that grips the inside of your shoe. During lateral cuts, pivots, and high-impact activity, the sock stays exactly where you placed it -- no bunching, no sliding, no mid-game adjustments.
The same stripe design adds a compression layer around the arch and ball of the foot, protecting against impact during running and jumping without adding bulk. This is why the socks work equally well for sport and for long standing shifts where foot fatigue is the primary concern.
Who These Are For
Designed for men who need performance compression and anti-slip reliability:
- Basketball and court sports -- the anti-slip sole prevents sock migration during lateral movement and quick direction changes
- Running and cycling -- moisture-wicking cotton keeps feet dry through extended cardio; arch compression reduces fatigue on long runs
- Warehouse and standing work -- arch and ankle compression reduces end-of-day foot fatigue; the tube height covers the ankle joint
- Everyday wear -- neutral color options and breathable knit make these comfortable for daily use with regular shoes
Materials & Care
Material: High-elastic cotton knit -- breathable, moisture-wicking, and built to hold compression through repeated washing. The cotton base keeps feet dryer than synthetic-only fabrics during extended activity.
Washing: Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle. Tumble dry on low heat or air dry flat. Avoid high heat -- it degrades the elastic fibers and reduces compression over time. With proper care each pair maintains compression for several months of regular use.
What you get: 3 pairs per pack. Each pack ships in a single color group (gray, mixed, or white). All pairs are the same style and construction.
Compression & Fit Guide
These socks use graduated compression focused on the arch, ankle, and lower calf -- the areas where circulation and fatigue are most affected during activity.
Compression zone layout:
- Arch and ball of foot -- highest compression, provided by the anti-slip stripe pattern. Reduces impact fatigue and stabilizes the sock.
- Ankle and lower calf -- moderate compression via the high-elastic knit construction. Supports the ankle joint and promotes blood flow back up the leg.
- Upper calf -- relaxed compression to allow comfortable movement without restriction.
Sizing: One size fits most men with US shoe sizes 7-13. The high-elastic construction stretches to accommodate wider feet and calves without losing compression function.
Questions? We've Heard Them All.
These socks use moderate graduated compression focused on the arch, ankle, and lower calf. They are not medically rated (such as 20-30 mmHg clinical compression socks). They are sport compression socks designed for performance support, fatigue reduction, and anti-slip function during activity. If you need clinically measured compression for a medical condition such as edema or varicose veins, a graduated medical compression sock is the appropriate choice.
The stripe pattern on the sole is made from a higher-friction material woven directly into the knit. It increases surface contact between the sock and the inside of your shoe -- so the sock stays in place during lateral movement, quick pivots, or high-impact activity. The same stripe design adds a layer of compression protection around the arch. You will notice the difference most during court sports and any activity with rapid direction changes.
Both. The compression and anti-slip design make them excellent for basketball, running, and cycling. But the breathable cotton knit and neutral color options also work well for everyday wear -- standing shifts, daily commuting, or casual use. Many customers rotate these socks through the week without ever playing a sport and find them more comfortable than standard athletic socks for all-day wear.
Each pack contains 3 pairs of socks. You choose a color option above -- the available packs are gray (3 gray pairs), mixed (gray, dark gray, and white), and white (3 white pairs). All pairs in a pack are the same style, construction, and compression level. The 3-pack format gives you a clean pair every day through a typical laundry cycle without running out.
Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle. Tumble dry on low heat, or air dry flat for best results. Avoid high heat -- it degrades the elastic fibers in the knit over time and reduces the compression function. With machine washing on cold and low-heat drying, each pair should maintain its compression and anti-slip properties for several months of regular wear. Hand washing in cool water extends the life further.
These are crew-length compression socks -- they reach approximately mid-calf. The height covers the ankle and lower calf, which is where compression has the most impact on circulation and joint support during activity. The crew length works with standard athletic shoes, basketball sneakers, and most casual footwear without the top band showing above the shoe collar.
Yes. The high-elastic construction stretches generously across the foot and toe box. The sock is not structured with a fitted toe shape, so there is no pressure on wider toes or wider forefeet. Most men with US sizes 7-13, including wider widths and larger calf circumferences, find these fit comfortably. If you have significantly larger-than-average calves, be aware the calf band may feel snug -- see the review section for real customer feedback on this.
Yes, with the right sizing context. These are marketed and sized as men's socks (US men's 7-13). Women with US shoe sizes approximately 8 and above will find these fit well, particularly if they prefer a looser, roomier sock. Women with smaller feet (below US women's 8) may find them too loose in the foot and ankle area to hold compression properly.
The socks have moderate cushioning in the sole and heel area from the dense cotton knit construction -- noticeably more than a standard athletic sock, but not as heavily padded as a dedicated running or trail sock. The primary function is compression and anti-slip grip rather than impact cushioning. If maximum cushioning is your priority, look for a sock specifically marketed as padded or cushioned for running.
30-day free returns. If these socks do not work for you -- for any reason -- contact us at hello@soolemate.com within 30 days for a full refund. Socks should be in good, unworn condition (trying on one pair to check fit is fine).
What Customers Are Saying
The anti-slip stripes actually work -- finally stopped sliding in my sneakers
I play recreational basketball twice a week and my socks were always sliding inside my shoes by the end of the first quarter. I would have to stop mid-game to push them back up. Tried these on a recommendation. Three months later -- no sliding. The stripe design grips the inside of the shoe and the sock stays exactly where I put it. The compression also makes my ankles feel more supported during lateral cuts. Great product at a price that makes getting 3 pairs easy.
Wear these every day -- warehouse job, 10 hours on concrete
I am on my feet 10 hours a day in a warehouse. I have gone through a lot of athletic socks trying to find something that does not wear out in a month, does not slide down, and keeps my feet dry. These do all three. Been wearing the same 3-pack rotating for two months. The cotton knit breathes well, the arch compression reduces fatigue noticeably by end of shift, and the anti-slip sole means I am not adjusting my socks mid-shift. I ordered a second pack.
Best value compression sock I have found
Three pairs for this price is genuinely good value. I have tried more expensive performance compression socks that cost twice this per pair. These hold compression better through the day than two of the brands I tested. The moisture-wicking is real -- my feet stay dry even after a 5-mile run. The crew height is exactly right for wearing with running shoes without the top band rubbing on my ankle bone. Very happy.
Bought these for my teenage son -- he won't wear anything else now
My son plays high school basketball and goes through socks faster than I can track. I bought these thinking they would last maybe a month. That was four months ago. Still going strong. He tells me the anti-slip sole keeps the sock from bunching during games. The elastic has not gone slack. He has had me order a third pack. For parents buying basketball socks: highly recommend.
The arch compression is the real feature -- my feet stop hurting mid-shift
I am a nurse and stand for 12-hour shifts. I have tried compression socks from a few brands. These hit different -- the arch band is where I feel it most. That section of the foot is usually ignored in standard athletic socks but it is where I get the most fatigue. By hour 8 with these on my feet feel noticeably less tired than with my previous socks. The anti-slip is also great -- the sock does not migrate during a long shift.
I cycle 4 days a week -- these stay up the entire ride
I was not sure if these would work for cycling but they do. The tube height is right for cycling shoes. They stay up for the entire ride without the top band becoming a tourniquet. Moisture-wicking keeps my feet dry through a 25-mile ride. The compression on the arch reduces the numb-foot feeling I get from foot pressure on the pedal during extended rides. Very happy.
Good sock -- gray color runs lighter than the photo
The compression and anti-slip function are exactly as described. My only note is that the gray pack is noticeably lighter than in the product photo. It is more of a light silver-gray than a medium gray. Not a problem functionally but I was expecting a darker neutral. The quality and performance are good enough that I would buy again -- I will just select the mixed pack next time.
Compression is great -- the calf band is snug if you have large calves
The arch compression is strong and exactly right. The anti-slip stripes work perfectly. My only issue is that the calf band at the top of the tube is quite tight on my calves -- I have larger-than-average legs from years of lifting. It is not painful but there is a mark after wearing them for a few hours. The sock itself is excellent otherwise. If you have average-sized calves these are likely perfect. Just a heads-up if you have muscular legs.
Compression loosened after about 2 months of regular washing
First month: excellent. The compression was firm, the anti-slip held well, the socks felt premium for the price. By month two with regular machine washing I noticed the elastic starting to relax. The arch band is not as tight as it was. They are still comfortable socks but the compression benefit is diminished. I think hand washing in cool water would extend the life -- the care instructions allow machine washing but I believe that is wearing them out faster.
Received wrong color pack -- support resolved it quickly
Ordered the gray 3-pack and received the mixed pack instead. The socks themselves seem fine from trying one pair. I contacted customer service and they resolved it within two days -- sent the correct pack and told me to keep the wrong one. So I ended up with 6 pairs total which I am not complaining about. Leaving 2 stars for the fulfillment error but the support team was responsive and helpful.
